Weekend Wings

The weekend is here and in our house, that means weekend food. Anyone else?

It's like there's a special menu that appears and then is gone just as quickly by Sunday. Eating well doesn't mean that you have to give up all those delicious weekend foods. It doesn't mean that you can't entertain, and it doesn't mean that while everyone else is stuffing their faces, you are having water. Now, that just wouldn't be any fun at all.
Enter: Wings

That's right! Those delicious spicy little tidbits that leave sauce dripping down our chins and beg for us to dip them in blue cheese dressing and lick our fingers. Those little morsels can still be weekend food, and if you make them at home they are even healthier because they are baked, not fried.
So, in the spirit of hooking you up with your weekend food, here we go.

Home Made Buffalo Wings
Ingredients:
1 package of chicken Wingettes (these are the wing pieces that have already been separated)
1 bottle of Frank's Red Hot Wing Sauce

What's Next:
Preheat oven to 375
Place wings on a baking rack inside a baking sheet (if you don't have the rack, that's ok, it just cuts down on the wings sitting in chicken fat)

Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour
Meanwhile, place half the bottle of Frank's Red Hot in a large plastic container with a tight fitting lid. The wings will cool quickly once they are out of the oven, so for the next part, move quickly.
Once the wings are done cooking, place them in the plastic bowl with the sauce-- you will probably have to do this is two batches.

Put the top on, and shake vigorously. Remove wings and add second batch to bowl, and repeat.
Serve immediately with celery and Walden Farms Bleu Cheese sauce.
